Sims 2 clean up

Ex: weird squiggly lines come up while my sim is on a computer. I only have 1 cc item which is the FFS lot debugger. Do I need to uninstall my game and packs and download the patches? But, I was doing some googling and noticed a bigger list here with more fixes too.

Do you recommend adding so many of these? I think my computer can handle it…. Should I just lower resolution or is there a way to scale the UI and make it bigger? I know Clean UI did some bigger fonts in places but like the catalog and sim bin for example are tiny at this resolution. This is the way the mod is designed. Adult sims created in CAS are assumed to be average high school graduates so will be limited to level 5. If you use the batbox to give these sims college degrees, then they will get the level 10 limit just like other graduates.

If I create a Sim that I think should have a career above level five, I give them a college degree using the batbox. Changing their high school grades will not change their ceiling a grade of A, B, or C results in the same level five limit.

The only thing that will change it is giving them a college degree. This mod allows Sims to work in ANY career up to level 5 without a degree. You may have another mod conflicting with this one if your Sims cannot take certain jobs from the noticeboard.

But I think you are right, it might not have something to do with this mod but another mod that, when operated in conjunction with this mod, causes this issue. For the day setter mod how do you use it?

I am not sure how it would keep the ages in sync. It just allows you to change days. I use it when I move a Sim to a new house or move a family out. Because when you move a Sim to a new lot it is always Monday at AM. But if you moved them out and it was actually Wednesday, you can use the day setter to change the day to Wednesday. I hate ghosts! However, in my game, all the sims are in randomly named households, for example, ricky cormier is under the cormier household but so are alot of other townies.

The only issue I have is that it screws up pregnancy length if you send a pregnant Sim to a community lot. They do but it takes time. Don Lothario had sex with a lot of women but he only loves couple of them in my games. And it makes sence. Poor Malcolm is constantly rejected sex by his own wife, Nina. I find so realistic.

Sexual orientation actually matters with this mod. It basically allows pregnant sim to asdign father to the baby while not changing its genetics.

I was looking at your list of Tools above and was interested in the Collection Creator. I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on how to download, install and use it. The download links are at the very bottom of the first post. Underneath the pictures there are four files listed. One is a. Click on the. In The Sims 2 , the cleaning skill can be improved by tidying up the messes which occur during daily life for instance, washing counters , appliances, toilets , sinks , and mopping or by reading a skill book.

Sims can also gain cleaning skill points by using certain career rewards , or by filling in holes dug up on the lot. A higher cleaning skill speeds up the cleaning process. It uses ultraviolet radiation to quickly and easily dust fingerprints everywhere, then display the ironclad evidence right on the viewscreen. The Prints Charming Fingerprint Scanner is the career reward unlocked when a Sim reaches level 6 of the law enforcement career. It is a pistol-sized gun that looks much like bar-code scanners used by employees in modern supermarkets.

If a Sim scans an object that was used by someone recently, that Sim's fingerprints will show up and the Sim's picture will appear in a thought bubble above the Sim using the scanner. If no one has used the object recently, a question mark will appear in a thought bubble. In The Sims 4: Bust the Dust Kit , cleaning is expanded upon by allowing entire floors to get filthy, requiring the need to be vacuumed with floor or handheld vacuums.

Rooms that go untidy will gradually get stinky and cause uncomfortable moodiest for Sims and generate dust piles. There are multiple additions this grants other pack features: maids will be able to automatically use vacuums by themselves. Pristine level cleanliness allows Sims to clean easy, this also allows Sims to be more inspired and confident in pristine environments. Dusty level cleanliness is a normal state for a house, this allows Sims to gain relationships as well as fun and social needs gain a little faster.

Dust Bunnies appear when a floor is dusty. Dirty level cleanliness is a negative state for a house, it makes cleaning take longer, romantic interactions fail a bit more, Parties hosted on dirty floors will make the host embarrassed, cooking and crafting skills start getting harder.

However, Slob Sims don't get effected. Filthy level cleanliness is the worst state for a house, cleaning takes even slower and it is much harder for Sims to clean, Sims will get frustrated or angry from everything being filthy, and Sims who keep cleaning will enter a rage cleaning state where they'll get energy and fun for cleaning as their angriness builds.

In The Sims 2 , maids will flush un-flushed toilets before cleaning them. If a maid is present, a Sim who stops eating a meal to answer the phone or pet the cat may find his or her food being taken away. Maids will usually put away books that sloppy Sims leave on floors and tables, but a maid with a low Neat score may leave a book lying around.

In general, maids will finish cleaning inside the house before cleaning up outdoors. This has an effect if the maid drops garbage because their route to the garbage can was blocked, or because the garbage can has been knocked over. If there is any indoor cleaning left to do, the garbage that was dropped or spilled will not be picked up until that indoor cleaning is finished, even though a knocked-over garbage can will be picked up as soon as the maid notices it.

A maid can mop up puddles that are under objects such as bathtubs and showers, even though other Sims cannot.
