They are pretty much a smaller version of the Velocity I had two Velocity 's in the past and they are extremely good sounding power amps for guitar.
I used them quite a long time in my rack days. The only draw backs are that they are somewhat heavy, the volume pots tend to be scratchy, and the fans are not super quiet.
I bet its next to an orginal IE 4 in red say number 12? Clean poweramp PA type. With that preamp, you don't NEED to get a guitar specific poweramp. In the end, more reliable, and you have infinitely more options out there. Sounded great on paper, but I found it a bit harsh for a guitar rig and it runs very hot.

Not loud enough unless for wet cabs only. Rocktron Velocity Great little amp. The reactance or whatever they call it is useful, and it's loud enough for my jamming situations.
I'll add my pick, a Digitech Hafler G Voiced for guitar. Not as loud as the Velocity but smoother and warmer.
